Car Hire may be arranged at favourable rates. We use a local family firm called C&H Autos, and find them excellent. The car is picked up, and returned to/from airport.   1. The property is offered for holiday rental subject to confirmation by Helen Field,("the Owner"), to the renter, ("the Client").
  2. To reserve the "Property",the Client should complete and sign the booking form, and return it together with payment of the initial non-refundable deposit (25%), Following the receipt of the booking form and deposit, the owner will send a confirmation invoice and statement. This is the formal acceptance of the booking.
  3. The balance of the rent is payable not less than six weeks before the start of the rental period. If payment is not received by the due date, the owner reserves the right to give notice in writing that the reservation is cancelled The Client will remain liable to pay the balance of the rent, unless the owner is able to re-let the property. In this event, clause 5 of these booking conditions will apply. Reservations made within six weeks of the start of the rental period require full payment at the time of booking.
  4. On top of the weekly tariff, a deposit of £100 will be required against any damage incurred by the "Property", or against the cost of laundering any extra-contractual linen used by the Client. This will be refunded within seven days of the end of the rental period. The cost of laundering any linen used in addition to that which is provided, will be charged at a sum of 10 euros per item, payable to the owner's agent.
  5. Subject to clauses 2 and 3 above,in the event of a cancellation, refunds of amounts paid will be made, if the owner is able to re-let the "Property", and any expenses or losses incurred in so doing will be deducted from the refundable amount
  6. The client is strongly recommended to arrange a comprehensive travel insurance policy, (including cancellation cover), and to have full cover for the party's personal belongings, public liability,etc., since these are not covered by the owner's personal insurance. You are also advised to obtain from the Post Office an E111 form,which enables UK residents to obtain emergency medical treatment in Mallorca.
  7. The accommodation is let from Sunday to Sunday, the rental period commencing at 4,00 pm on the day of arrival, and terminating at 10.00 am on the day of departure. However, if it is mutually acceptable to both parties, an alternative period of occupation could be considered.
  8. The maximum number to reside in the "Property" must not exceed six people.
  9. The Client agrees to be a considerate tenant, and to take good care of the "Property", leaving it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the rental period Although a final clean is included in our prices,the owner reserves the right to charge for additional cleaning costs, if the Client leaves the "Property" in an unacceptable condition. The Client also agrees not to act in any way that might cause disturbance to neighbouring properties, as is stated in local Betlem law.
  10. The Client shall report to the owner's agent without delay any defects in the "Property",or breakdown in the machinery, equipment or appliances in the "Property", and arrangements for repair and/or replacement will be made as soon as possible.
  11. The Client will undertake not to block any waste pipes or drains, resulting in the possible malfunction of the drainage system.
  12. The owner shall not be liable to the Client:
    a) for any temporary defect or stoppage in supply of public services to the "Property", nor for any temporary stoppage or defect in machinery, equipment or appliances in the "Property" or garden.
    b) for any loss, damage or injury which is the result of adverse weather conditions, riot, war, strikes, or other matters beyond the control of the owner.
    c). For any loss, damage or inconvenience caused to or suffered by the Client if the "Property" shall be destroyed or substantially damaged before the start of the rental period, and, in any such event, the owner shall, within seven day's notification to the Client, refund to the Client all sums previously paid in respect of the rental period.
    d). For any accident or damage resulting from access to, or departure from the outside roof terrace.
  13. Under no circumstances shall the owner's liability to the Client exceed the amount paid to the owner for the rental period
    This contract shall be governed by English law in every particular, including information and interpretation, and shall be deemed to have been made in England. Any proceedings arising out of, or in connection with this contract, may be brought in any court of competent jurisdiction in England or Wales.

NOTES

  • No smoking permitted within the villa.
  • Bed linen,bath and hand towels provided, and changed weekly .There is a charge for any extra linen or towels used.
  • Please bring your own beach towels for use on sun beds.
  • Car hire is essential, and can be arranged if desired.
  • Cleaning, electricity, gas and water are included in the weekly price.
  • No outside fires or barbecues are permitted by law between April and October.
